MY CITY 4 WAYS

Now in it's 5th year, The Essence/Ford MC4W video series is an immersive and intimate look into a day with four local influencers in targeted cities engaged in their areas of expertise (food, fashion, art, and style) at the MC4W live event. Over the years, Pixod has worked with Essence and Ford to produce the series that has featured stories ranging from local artists live-painting and Chefs sharing cooking tips , to emerging fashion designers sharing new collections to local musicians breaking new music to local crowds; The video series has featured artist and personalities including McLyte, Kelis, Tweet, and more and have left viewers wishing they had attended and anxiously anticipating the next MC4W event to hit their city.

VISTA TV

Vista TV taped Creative Director Mali X and his Pixod team to provide design and development for their new OTT/IPTV service. The startup is in it's early stages yet already seeing success with notable network contracts including: HBO, Starz, Showtime, Cinemax, Epix, History, Discovery, NatGeo, and Animal Planet.

FAMILY MOBILE

Pixod worked with Walmart and the popular YouTube personalities "Gabe & Babe" to produce a national commercial and online promotion featuring the Walmart/TMobile family mobile plan. Followers of the online couple know them well for sharing the fun and challenges of managing a family on a realistic budget. Pixod was able to capture the ease of managing that budget with WalMart's mobile plan and their commitment to helping families "Save Money and Live Better".

SHARE A COKE
w/ANDRA DAY

To amplify the "Share a Coke" program, Pixod, worked with McDonalds and Coke to develop an interactive mobile experience that gave over 40 MILLION McDonalds customers that ability to unlock exclusive original video content by scanning a Coke Cup with their mobile device. As proof of concept, Pixod created a custom image recognition experience to demo and seal the deal with stake holders and partnered with Shazam to collectively execute the program nationwide. Purchasers of the cups can also view the short film documentary "I Rise," inspired by Day's single "Rise Up." The film can be watched on a cellular device after scanning a cup using Shazam's new image recognition technology.

LOVE THE JOURNEY

The social media influencers and comedic couple "The Ellises", were chosen to be featured in Toyota's custom Love The Journey video series highlighting the Essence Black Love Gala. Pixod worked with Toyota, Essence, and the Ellises to create two original videos "Radio Hog" and "Drive Thru", that captured a few fun moments with the couple, all while showcasing the new Toyota Avalon and its latest features. The series was a strong example of branded content reaching viewers where they were, with unexpected surprise and delight. The videos were well received across social media, reaching nearly 1.5 Million viewers through direct posts and shares.

#WOKEWONDERLAND

Pixod, worked with Essence to design and develop an original mobile tool that gave their 500,000+ Festival attendees that ability to create custom branded content for social media to support for the powerful #woke movement. With support by personalities including John Legend and Emily Estefan, the program was a perfect blend of user generated social media + branded content + live event integration – all for a grass roots movement #wokewonderland.

BLACK FORWARD

Pixod helped McDonald's and Lance Gross take the ESSENCE audience on a guided tour of New Orleans by producing a three part video series spotlighting the music, entertainment, arts and culture that defined the city. During the series, Lance focused on the Essence Festival and all the activities on his agenda from the McDonald's activations at the convention center to the 365Black Awards Ceremony. Viewers were given VIP access to the world of Lance Gross during ESSENCE Fest, while promoting McDonald's Black Forward program. In the final video, after touring the city and attending the Festival, viewers joined Lance as he celebrated his birthday at at the McDonald's Midnight Mix with Performances by Wale and guest appearances by Mack Wilds, DJ Bova, Jon Moody, and DJ Drama.

TERADATA PARTNERS CONFERENCE

Now in its 31st year, the Teradata PARTNERS conference has become the largest annual gathering of data and analytics professionals in North America and is held at the prestigous, Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Pixod worked with the Teradata's AOR to design the innagaural KeyNote video and shortform event promo videos. The indoor jumobtrons with their curved surfaces and unique aspect ratio, presented an opportunity to create an expansive design that immersed the viewer in a unique way. The unique visual experience exceeded Teradata's expectations and captured the power of data and analytics to impact business outcomes.
